2. Browsing and your draft enquiry
This website does not use advertising or analytics trackers and does not create a customer account. The application does not set cookies or use localStorage or sessionStorage to retain your enquiry. Selected items and typed details are held in the current page’s memory and are not automatically sent to AAgafLV.
Preparing an email passes the draft to your email application. You decide whether to send it. Downloading creates a text file on your device, which may contain the details you typed. You control that file and should protect or delete it as needed.
Hosting and network services necessarily process technical information such as IP address, request time, browser information and requested pages to deliver and protect the site. Where access is provided through a hosted preview platform, that platform also handles its own account and access information under its own privacy terms.
3. Information we receive
If you email or call us, we may receive your name, contact information, company and role, requested products and quantities, delivery country or address, project requirements and correspondence. If an order or service follows, relevant quotation, contract, invoice and complaint information may also be held.
Only provide information needed for the request. Do not include card details, passwords, identity documents or sensitive personal information in an enquiry. The website does not process online payments.
4. Purposes and legal bases
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Discuss a personal enquiry and take steps toward a requested contract | Steps at your request before a contract; performance of an agreed contract |
| Discuss an enquiry made by a representative of a company | Legitimate interests in managing business enquiries and relationships |
| Keep required accounting and transaction records | Compliance with applicable legal obligations |
| Protect the website, resolve disputes and maintain necessary records | Legitimate interests in security and protecting legal rights, subject to your rights |
We do not enrol enquiry contacts in a marketing mailing list. Any future activity requiring consent must obtain it separately. You may withdraw such consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.
5. Who may receive information
Only relevant personnel and service providers should access enquiry information. These may include email and hosting providers, professional advisers and, when needed for your requested quotation or order, the identified seller and delivery provider. We limit information to what is necessary for the purpose.
We may disclose information where required by law or needed to establish or defend legal claims. We do not sell your personal information. A seller or payment provider may be a separate controller and must provide its own privacy information.
6. International processing
Email, hosting or other service providers may process information outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Any transfer for which AAgafLV is responsible must comply with applicable data-protection rules, using an adequacy decision, appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses, or another lawful mechanism where applicable. Contact us for information about relevant recipients and safeguards for your enquiry.
7. Retention
Draft enquiry information is held only in the page’s memory; downloaded files and email drafts remain under your control. Enquiries that do not lead to a transaction are normally removed from our active records within 12 months after the last substantive contact, unless a dispute or other legitimate reason requires longer retention.
Transaction and accounting records are kept for the applicable statutory period. Complaint and legal-claim records are retained for as long as necessary to resolve the matter and meet relevant limitation or legal requirements. Technical records follow the hosting provider’s necessary security and operational retention arrangements.
8. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your information and object to processing based on legitimate interests. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity.
We normally respond within one month. If complexity or the number of requests permits an extension under the GDPR, we will explain the reason within that first month. Some information may need to be retained to meet a legal obligation or establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.
You can complain to the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (DVI) or another competent supervisory authority. You do not have to contact us first. Further information is available in the General Data Protection Regulation.
9. Security, automated decisions and updates
We use proportionate organisational and technical measures for the information we control. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. This website does not make legally significant automated decisions or carry out advertising profiling.
External links and your email application have their own privacy practices. If our website features or data practices change, this policy will be updated and any further information or consent required by law will be provided.
